Organic Fátima La Reina
Introducing Fátima La Reina, a stunning honey-process microlot sourced from the celebrated Marcala region of Honduras!
This small-batch, honey-process microlot comes from Fátima Mercedes Maradiaga, a schoolteacher-turned-coffee producer in the celebrated Marcala region of Honduras. Fátima named her farm La Reina (“The Queen”) after a nickname from her husband, and she brings meticulous care and deep intention to every step of the process.
Hand-pulped and sun-dried with constant attention, this lot is a beautiful expression of her craft: vibrant green apple acidity, pecan sweetness, and a cocoa powder finish.
Fátima is a longtime member of COMSA, one of Honduras’ most respected organic cooperatives, known for its focus on regenerative farming and farmer empowerment. Her work reflects not just quality, but a long-term vision for community, sustainability, and family legacy.
